The SUNY Rochester EOC (REOC) has been an established adult educational facility in the city of Rochester NY for over 50 years. Conveniently located in Downtown Rochester, the REOC has earned the reputation as one of the outstanding Centers in the state. REOC employees collaboratively provide skill and academic training necessary for students to continue to college or obtain a career. Job Summary: The Practical Nursing Program Coordinator will teach a reduced load (10 hours), and collaborate with the Healthcare chair and Director of Academic Affairs to plan, assess, analyze, and improve processes, programs, and services that support the REOC's mission and vision. The coordinator will help REOC to improve its capacity to inform and evaluate change through data-driven decision making.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or currently enrolled in a program culminating in a bachelor's degree in nursing by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
Current unencumbered New York State RN license.
Successful experience working with an economically and culturally diverse population.
Demonstrated experience in training/teaching and classroom management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.

Demonstrated experience in acute medical surgical nursing and long-term care

Experience teaching practical nursing.

Demonstrated supervisory experience.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Salary and Benefits: The Minimum salary for this position is $60,000.
