Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for a Cybersecurity Lab Support Technician. The Cybersecurity Lab Support Technician is a position within Brockport Information Technology Services (BITS) and the primary role will be supporting the Cybersecurity labs as well as working in partnership with other lab professionals. The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain an adequate understanding of software technology, functions, and operational procedures as well as be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university and two years of professional work experience.
Ability to maintain and configure Windows operating systems.
Basic understanding of Windows Server Environment.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and keep up to date with emerging technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university and two years of professional work experience.
Minimum of one year of experience, including internships, with managing a Windows Server Environment.
Experience with Batch scripting and PowerShell.
Understanding of AD group policies.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Salary and Benefits: The minimum salary for this position is $60,320.
