SUMMARY

SUNY Brockport invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty openings in the Department of Healthcare Studies (HCS) with primary responsibility in the Addictions & Behavioral Health (ABH) program.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Teaches courses in addictions and behavioral health or a related field.
Reviews and plans course content as well as preparing all lesson plans.
Evaluates student performance and provide feedback to enhance skill development.
Infuses diversity issues into teaching, as pedagogically appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in a field related to addictions & behavioral health by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
Demonstrated experience in training/teaching and classroom management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses related to addiction, behavioral health, or a related topic
Online and classroom teaching experience preferred
Experience in student mentorship preferred

Work Schedule: Variable

Salary and Benefits:

Semester stipend $4,500 per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
