Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Student Success Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and facilitating a comprehensive portfolio of success initiatives on behalf of the Student Success Steering Committee (SSSC) at Weber State University. The individual will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of retention initiatives. This will include the development of retention project plans, tracking of key retention project milestones, data informed assessment of the initiatives, the coordination of outreach efforts to students, faculty, and staff, and the provision of progress updates to the SSSC. The Project Manager will report to both Academic and Student Affairs.
Bachelors degree in appropriate field
Three years of experience in project management
Two years of experience in any aspect of analytics including data management, analysis, business intelligence or other areas
Direct work experience with student success in a university setting or experience in higher education
Experience employing project methodologies and collaboration tools
Familiarity with project management software and processes
Proven track record of implementing and measuring student success initiatives
Experience using big data and/or college student data analytics
Ability to work independently and with cross functional teams across multiple divisions
