Overview
The Residential Life and Deputy Title IX Coordinator (RLC) is responsible for the general welfare of the students within the residential community, consisting of 350 residents in six residence halls (1 traditional building, 5 mansions) and an apartment complex. The RLC is expected to positively influence, contribute to, and enrich the quality of life of students through community building and education while enforcing college policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment. The RLC directly supervises 2 Graduate level Assistant Residential Life Coordinators (ARLCs), co-supervises 12-14 Resident Assistants (RAs), and provides requisite training and professional development. Additionally, the RLC serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the college. As the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, the RLC partners with the Title IX Coordinator to respond to issues regarding Title IX. The Deputy will conduct Title IX workshops and presentations for the campus community, including training for mandatory reporters.

This is a 12-month, live-in position - including a meal plan with Albertus Magnus College's dining services, a 3-bedroom partially-furnished apartment, free reserved parking, free laundry, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Professional Residential Life experience or Live-in On-Call experience preferred
  • Experience developing and/or implementing training programs preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, and Clery Act


Education
Bachelors degree required, Masters Degree preferred

Special Work Schedule Requirements
Some night and weekend hours will be required as part of on-call rotation and college-sponsored events.
