Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Evaluator serves as the initial reviewer of Maryland Applied Graduate Engineering (MAGE) Graduate level transcripts by performing initial application review, ensuring that applicants meet the requirements for admission based on university and MAGE policies and regulations. This position determines graduate admission eligibility based on application material and industry/ institution credential standards. The Evaluator is a vital member of the Admissions and Recruitment team, and is essential in maintaining partnerships with campus partners concerning evaluation processes and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience performing admissions application evaluation.
CRM application management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Preferences:
Experience working with graduate studies admissions.
Familiarity with international education systems and academic documents.
Experience in international credential evaluation.

Additional Information:

The hiring salary for this position is $52,000 to $60,000 annually.
This position is located in College Park, MD.
Up to 15% travel, including regional and national travel.
Some nights and weekends are required.

Physical Demands:

Predominantly sedentary position/work.
Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to sit for an extended time and operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Ability to review, prepare, and analyze data and figures; transcribe; view a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Ability to traverse on and off campus for meetings and to transport supplies and materials.
Able to communicate with faculty, staff, and students who have inquiries and exchange accurate information in these situations.
Some weekend early morning, and evening hours will be required.
Must be able to traverse around campus and have the ability to travel regionally and nationally approximately 15% travel.
