Position Summary:
The Division of Student Affairs is looking for a qualified candidate to lead our Women's Resource Center. This person will provide strategic direction, consultation, and support to the university community in addressing in an integrated way the education needs, prospects, and related concerns of women's needs within the region. They will provide leadership to university departments, as well as government and community agencies and organizations, in the development and implementation and administration of programs designed to improve retention and graduation rates of women students. This position will direct a variety of programs and initiatives associated with women's student services and provide leadership consultation and coordination to university constituents in their various interactions within services to target the women's community. They will provide leadership, consultation, and coordination to university constituencies in their various interactions with and services to women and represents both the University and the constituency externally at local, state, national, and international levels, as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree.

Demonstrated experience in advocacy and support specifically around sexual assault, domestic violence and trauma.

Full-time employment in student affairs or a similar field.

Demonstrated experience in management and leadership skills.

Demonstration of knowledge and best practices and national trends regarding women's needs and services in a higher education setting.

Knowledge of compliance with Title IX, Clery Act related to sexual assault, safety and prevention.
Excellent oral and written skills.

Ability to work collaboratively to coordinate, develop and implement programming with a wide variety of constituents on campus with staff, faculty, students, and the community.
