Cross Cultural & Leadership Development - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (22001991)

Incumbent serves as the Assistant Director for the fraternity and sorority system which includes the Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Collegiate Panhellenic Association, Greek Week programming board, Order of Omega Honor Society and selected additional fraternal groups. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, fiscal management, scholarship administration, program development, leadership training, and chapter assistance. The position advises a governance council in fraternity and sorority life to provide support to chapters, advisement of the executive board, budget assistance, leadership training, and programming. The Assistant Director is responsible for guiding the strategic plan for the fraternity and sorority system, including the community action plan which guides expectations and culture for fraternity and sorority life. Position provides outreach to all external stakeholders, including, chapter advisors and volunteers, alumni, professional academic mentors, national headquarters Responsibilities also include marketing, promoting and assessing the performance of the fraternity and sorority system, establishing and monitoring conduct standards, and working on fraternity and sorority housing matters. Assistant Director provides supervision to two Program Coordinators in Fraternity and Sorority Life. The Assistant Director meets regularly with the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development Associate and Assistant Directors to support the Director with leadership, initiatives, and outreach. The position also entails a wide range of administrative duties to facilitate the mission of the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development and the Division of Student Affairs.

Master's degree with 3-5 years of related work experience. Position requires experience with fraternity and sorority life and leadership development programs at a university level.
