The Manager, Academic Integrity is responsible for overseeing academic integrity policies and procedures for the undergraduate and graduate schools at Babson College. Specifically, the Manager reviews academic integrity complaints from faculty, determines appropriate adjudication pathway, and brings cases to swift resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full case management life-cycle for academic integrity violations for undergraduate and graduate student cases including investigating and/or evaluating complaints in a timely manner, communicating with involved parties, and serving as primary hearing officer and/or board advisor.
- Educate the Babson community (i.e., faculty and students) regarding academic integrity policies as outlined in the Student Code of Ethics.
- Collaborate with academic leadership regarding trends and case load for academic integrity violations, offering recommendations for process improvement.
- Partner with Assistant Director, Community Standards in training and development of undergraduate and graduate hearing board members responsible for adjudicating academic integrity violations.
- Develop and facilitate academic integrity seminars to serve as educational sanctions designed to reduce recidivism for academic integrity complaints.
- Benchmark best practices and assess peer institution management of academic integrity under the leadership of the Director, Community Standards.
- Develop materials for new faculty orientation related to academic integrity policies, procedures, and trends.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Education Requirements:
Minimum Level of Education Required Bachelor's Degree
Position Knowledge/Skills & Abilities Requirements:
- Must have at least 4-6 years of related experience in student conduct, specifically managing academic integrity cases.
- Must have advanced knowledge of student development theory, program development, management, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in student group advisement and development; student and staff training development; and student leadership program development.
- Must have strong knowledge and command of college policies, student conduct processes, and related legal considerations in student affairs.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse and inclusive student body, faculty, staff, and other constituents.
- Demonstrated comfort in public speaking and presenting; excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty, administration, staff, parents and alumni. Special emphasis in the following areas: Public Safety, Student Advising and Success, Glavin, Legal Counsel, Admissions, Title IX, and Alumni and Friends Network.
- Works independently to solve problems; looks for opportunities to take on responsibility; takes thoughtful risks; and effectively acts on new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results
- Anticipates and effectively handles change; demonstrates willingness to try new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions
- Must have strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), email communication, database management, and social media.
Working Conditions:
- Babson College requires all Babson faculty and staff members authorized to work on our campuses or any other property owned or controlled by the College to verify that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19. We have extended our vaccination policy to require a COVID-19 booster shot for all eligible community members as well. Students, faculty and staff must provide booster vaccination information by February 1, 2022 or within 21 days of becoming eligible for a booster (unless granted a medical accommodation or religious exemption). Additional Experience, Skills & Abilities:
